RONNIE COPE

Member of the Dagenham Pitch & Putt club for more than 25 years. Winning countless club competitions over the years. Also a keen golf player. In recent years Runner-up in the British seniors 2004 and winner of Essex Open (Town show) seniors 2004. This is Ron’s first pitch & putt competition outside of Britain and is very much looking forward to representing Britain.


GEOFF UNWIN

48-year-old software consultant Geoff has been a member of the abbotsly pitch & putt club for 4 years. Geoff was the GB representative at the ground breaking GIN World Cup event in Monte Carlo in 2003. Then went on to represent GB in the European championship in Ireland 2003. Placed 4th in 2002 British champioship,runner up in 2003 and fourth in 2004. Enjoys the challenge of taking on new courses on foreign soil.


ROBERT PENZES

Rob has played pitch and putt for 6 years a member of the centenary park pitch and putt club, of which he is the competition secretary. Two-time member of the British team after representing Britain in the 2001 and 2003 European’s. British champion 2001 and 2002. Also holds the course record at centenary park -10.


BLAISE FERNANDES

Treasurer for the centanary park club,Blaise was introduced to the competitive side of pitch and putt by Willie Parker whilst willie was teaching at his club.Currenlty centanary parks strokeplay champion. Finished 5th in the British Championship in 2003.Repesented Britain in the European championship 2003 and World Invitational Championship in 2004. Has also travelled to Ireland for friendly matches along with playing in last years open at teia.


STEVE DEEBLE

Steve has been playing pitch and putt for 30 years and is the Handicap secretary for the Dagenham club. Has one countless competition over his time at the club, Essex Open (town show) runner-up 1981,1986,1989 and 1992 .Winner of this event 1982,1993,2002 and 2004. Made it a double in 1982 by winning the Havering open in the same year.Club champion 2002 and 2003.British championship runner up 2002 and 2004.Represented Britain in 2003 Europeans and 2004 world invitational. Played in three European opens last season. Course record holder at Dagenham course with 48 shot in 2005 .British No.1.


JOHN DEEBLE (CAPTAIN)

Pitch and putt player for 8 years and current British champion. Has been a consistent winner at club and national level. Dagenham club captain 2003 and 2004. Dagenham
